A Training for Vermont and New Hampshire Counselors
This basic workshop is designed to introduce beginning counselors to ethics related to substance abuse treatment and orient them to resources they can use to explore ethical issues when they arise. Topics covered include:
Ethics: a historical perspective Applied Ethics Accountability Competence Confidentiality, 42CFR and HIPAA Sexual Dilemmas Conflicts of Interest Codes of Conduct

- Understand the importance of professional competence, both initial and continuing

Directions
From I-91: Take Exit 13 (Norwich/Hanover exit) to Route 5 South. Travel approximately 1.7 miles and turn left onto Billings Farm Rd, opposite the Dotham Brook Elementary School. Turn right at the first driveway, just 1/10 of a mile. CCV is the large yellow building ahead of you.
Training Fees: Fees: $60
per participant, includes continental breakfast. 2 or more people from the same agency, receive a 20% discount.
